Men's Counselling | Abbotsford, BC & Online Across BC
Real Talk, Real Tools, Real Change
“You don’t have to lose yourself just to hold everything together.”
Maybe it's the third coffee before noon, the shorter fuse with your kids, or the way weekends don't recharge you anymore. Many men I work with look successful on the outside while privately feeling worn down, anxious, or disconnected.
Evan Vukets is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Abbotsford, BC who provides men’s counselling in person in Abbotsford and online across British Columbia. His work focuses on men’s mental health, burnout, anxiety, anger, depression, addiction, compulsive behaviours, trauma, and life transitions.

Men’s Mental Health
For men functioning on the outside but feeling stuck, disconnected, or
burnt out underneath.
Burnout & Stress
Anxiety & Overthinking
Anger Management
Anger is usually a signal something
underneath needs attention, not
a character flaw.
Depression & Low Mood
Not always sadness, often
flatness, withdrawal, and losing
interest in what used to matter.
Addiction & Compulsive Patterns
Understanding what the pattern is doing for you, so change can become more sustainable.
Rudolf Dreikurs said he was interested in what makes you tick, not what makes you sick. That's the lens I bring into this work, curiosity about who you are, not a checklist of what's wrong with you.

About Evan
I'm Evan Vukets, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Abbotsford. I specialize in working with men who, on the outside, look like they have it together, but inside feel worn down, disconnected, or stuck on autopilot.
Before private practice I worked crisis lines, community support roles, and treatment centres. I've also lived through burnout myself. Years of seven-day weeks before restructuring my life around what actually mattered when I became a father. I didn't just study this work. I built a practice shaped by it.
In addition to private practice, I hold an active contract as a trauma therapist at a local treatment centre in Abbotsford. Working with addiction and trauma isn't an area I stepped into lightly or from reading a textbook.
